What a tough day
Posted in Daily Distortion on August 10th, 2005 by kimi – Be the first to commentToday is kinda stressful day for me. The haze is getting worse by minute. I can’t drive properly due to sore and dry eyes that i have to endure. Viz is so poor, u can’t see more than 500m ahead of you. This is what i heard, read & have to go through from morning till now.
1-API (Air Pollutant Index) is reaching 410 at Port Klang. That is the worst reading so far. I presume, KL has reached at least 380-400 of API point.
2-I monitored KLIA/Subang Weather Band. They informed that the visibility is at 400-500m max. I’m worry if something bad happen at the airstrip.
3-I got stress easily. I’m sweating like hell once i go out eventhough its only 5 minutes. I felt so stuffy & have a minor breathing difficulty.
4-The air smell like smoke. Of course it is, hehe. It’s that forest being burnt in our neighbour country. Now we got the consequences.
5-My brother who is studying in boarding school at Sepang are advised to leave school ASAP. This is due to the thick haze at that area which might lead unforseen & negative circumstance. Now he is at home enjoying Astro. Duh!
6-I’m suffering sore eyes and throat as well as stuffy nose. Pity to the asthmatic, they have to be careful even more at this moment.
7-Report on the amateur band mentioned that, certain areas in Perak are not affected by haze as much as KL do. The place that i can recalled is Seri Iskandar.
8-It’s raining around 5pm++ at my office. Unfortunately, the rain didn’t last for 5 minutes & the drops can be counted as well (pun intended). I think, someone is doing cloud-seeding up there.
Time for my class.
