Pigging out
Posted in Daily Distortion on November 29th, 2005 by kimi – 5 CommentsThe best thing when travelling to the other part of the world is eating their local food. In Saudi there are numerous type of food that can be choose from. From fat-laden to fibre-rich meal, their cuisine taste so good, i can’t hardly resist it.
So yesterday, after starving during the breakfast (yup, i had croissant, biscuit & orange juice), we went out for lunch. So, we was thinking to get something local & traditional. We head on to one of the restaurant in downtown area. We place our order, and after almost 10 minutes, our meal arrived.
To my suprise, yes a HUGE suprise, the meal is sooo gargantuan to my standard. It was served in a tray & shared among the friends. The meal called ‘Kabsah’.

Zal, approving the size of the meal.
We managed to finish HALF of the serving. It’s too much. Too much. I’m so full. If i want to equate how much is the serving is, it can be equates this way.
- It requires 25 faradillah to finish it up
or
- It requires 20 Haniza to settle it up
or
- It requires 10 Kimi or equivalent to finish it up
orrr…
- It requires 3 Nazrul/Irwan to Khalas it up! Hahaha
During the lunch, altogether, we had…
- 1 kabsah
- 4 canned soda
- 1 laban
- 2 plates of vege
The damage? 49 SAR. Not bad huh?
