Posted in Ham Radio on July 28th, 2005 by kimi – Be the first to commentI received a call from MCMC this morning. She told me that my license is ready for pickup. Wow! This is cool, MCMC really know how to serve the customer well. *Elaborating my experience as customer, i wont* Sounds like a Yoda huh :p
Jump into my car, turn on the radio as usual. No, no, no that radio, my mobile rig. Manage to catch several on-air conversation on 9WG318 repeater – 145.700Mhz, dup -ve.
Once arrived in MCMC, i grabbed the envelope and smile to myself. Yes! Now i’m now a licensed ham radio operator.
My callsign is 9W2KMI / Niner-Whiskey-Two-Kilo-Mike-India
Let’s QSO, i would to make friends with others no matter which continent they are living.
At this point moment, as a rookie, i’ll be monitoring VHF band only. I’m learning how to build a home-brew antenna.
