“Anta hanya boleh pergi Haji tahun 2022, tapi kalau nak cepat, boleh buat rayuan. Tulis surat….” ujar staff TH di depan aku, sebalik kaunter. Hujung-hujung ayatnya tidak jelas pada aku sebabnya aku tersedar/tersenyum/teringat balik yang tahun itu adalah 2022!!. Wow, aku macam tersedar dari mimpi bila mendengar nombor itu. Tidak pernah terlintas dalam fikiran aku untuk mempunyai pelan sejauh itu dan sekarang aku perlu adakannya.

Menjejakkan kaki ke Tanah Suci Mekah adalah impian semua umat islam di dunia ini dan aku pun begitu. Walaupun aku dah 2 kali ke sana (atas urusan kerja & umrah), ibadah Haji adalah berbeza. Cakap jek pasal pergi haji, mak ayah aku mesti sayu saja wajahnya memandangkan kos yang makin tinggi untuk ke sana. Ditambah lagi, nama mereka antara yang sedang diproses untuk ke Mekah tahun ini. InsyaAllah ada rezeki mereka akan ke sana hujung tahun ini juga. Pasal perbelanjaan, biar aku yang risaukan. Ini ‘hadiah’ aku untuk mereka.

Majlis Berbuka Puasa

Last monday, my company had a memorable majlis berbuka puasa somewhere in Jalan Tun Razak. Our special guest are unfortunate kids from PERNIM & Rumah Solehah. These kid is either suffering HIV/AIDS or being left out by their parent who is infected by the disease. Only kids aged below 12 years old were selected.

Before the majlis berbuka puasa take place, they were taken to The Mall for shopping. From some word-of-mouth info, these bunch of kids is not the one we do expect. They are highly energetic, never rest & the best is they can disappear in no time. Some of the volunteer have a hard time to adapt themselves to this environment. I guess, it is a good training for them before they have their own kids.* It apply to me too*

During the berbuka puasa, i’m grateful to shot some photo of them. It’s kinda difficult and i managed to get some shots of it. They never stay put. Nice. Looking into their eyes, i wonder what does future behold for this kids. Only Allah SWT knows best.

Our company is very grateful to share the wealth with this unfornate kids. They receive a handsome sum of ‘duit raya’ where they really cherish it. We (employee) thought we will receive it too, not this time i suppose.

Before that, they received some token from YB Datuk Dr. Haji Abdul Latif ( Deputy Minister of Health). YB is the chairman of PERNIM, if i not mistaken.

All in all, the event is a successful one. Such a memorable, i wish it can be repeated over and over again for the years to come. The orphans is a gem to the public, only we never realize that.

Something to ponder about the orphans. Here goes:

Dari Sahl bin Saad r.a. dari Nabi Muhammad s.a.w. sabdanya: “Aku dan orang yang memelihara anak yatim adalah di dalam syurga seperti ini.” Sambil Baginda menunjuk dengan kedua jarinya -jari telunjuk dan jari tengah (yang dirapatkannya).
